    Description

A working MANUAL WIND original clock.
    The clock
has been disassembled, cleaned, serviced, tested.
The plastic lens is damaged and the chrome bezel does have pitting
    (see pictures)
    .
One issue is one the fast/slow adjustment has a broken tab so to adjust you'll need to use needle nose pliers.
I removed the clock from its housing to service it. I oiled the balance spring, oscillator, drive gear and pivot holes with synthetic watch oil.
I ran the clock over a couple of days and it appears to keep good time.
This clock is a perfect donor clock if yours doesn't work and your clock has a good plastic lens and chrome bezel.
If you want to go this route be aware that these 53-54 Chevy clocks were made by 4 different manufacturers : Borg, Lux (2 versions), New Haven (2 versions) and Westclox. NOT ALL PARTS INTERCHANGE BETWEEN THEM INCLUDING THE PLASTIC LENS AND CHROME BEZEL.
To illustrate this look at the last 2 pictures. They show both versions of the New Haven clock, the one for sale in this listing on the left and the other version (not for sale in this listing)on the right. Notice the winding stem is located between 7 and 8 O'clock on the left clock compared to the stem located at the 9 O'clock position on the clock on the right. Your clock must match the lens/bezel version and the bolt pattern of the clock I am selling. Otherwise you wont be able to use this clock as a donor.
NOTE: You are buying one clock, the one with the chrome bezel. The clock with the copper colored bezel is not included and is used for display purposes only.
