Description
This is a Hoyt Pro Medalist Left Hand 35# recurve bow which was made most likely between 1969-1971. It is the longest of the PM series with an AMO length of 70". I comes with a new 66" string which gives a brace height of six and half inches. The limbs are straight, and except for minor cosmetic damage to the Hoyt Decal it is in extremely clean condition. It has two small sight mounting holes on the riser which have been filled in in.The Hoyt micro adjustable arrow rest works perfectly, and you can see its range of adjustment in the images. The Hoyt rest allows you to compensate for arrow spine weight and personal shooting needs.
The Hoyt Pro Medalist was used to win two gold medals in the 1972 Olympics, the first year that archery was added back into the Olympic Games. This is a very beautiful bow, and shoots very smoothly and flawlessly as only a premier full length vintage recurve can do.
If you are left handed shooter, this is as good as it gets for vintage archery equipment.
