Gorgeous, near mint condition Yamaha 62 professional wood piccolo upgraded with Straubinger pads, and headjoint recut by former Powell headjoint manager Lindsey McChord. The Yamaha 62 is a best seller, and perhaps the best “bang for the buck” model in the wooden piccolo market as is, but these pad and headjoint upgrades truly take it to the next level and make it perform like a much more expensive piccolo!
It has a Grenadilla (African blackwood) head and body for a warm rich sound, durable silver plated keys, split E mechanism for an effortless response on the otherwise troublesome E3.
